Michelle Radomsky is Newly Named Assistant Superintendent

Michelle Radomsky was born and raised in New Castle, Indiana, and graduated from Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods College in Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, with a BA in English with secondary teaching certification.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan.  She started her career as an English teacher at Hackett Catholic Central High School in Kalamazoo,Michigan, where she also began working as the liaison between the faculty and administration.  She was named Dean of Students at Hackett in 2007, and in 2012, she transitioned to the position of principal of Saint Mary Catholic School in Paw Paw, Michigan.  

Michelle has three daughters.  Abigail is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and is a student at Wayne State School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan.  Caroline is graduating in 2019 with a degree in elementary education from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin, where she played soccer and golf.  Rebecca will be a senior at the University of Notre Dame in the fall, majoring in chemistry, and she is a member of the Notre Dame Marching Band.  Michelle is currently relocating to the Indianapolis area, and she is happy to be coming home to Indiana after her years in Michigan.  She enjoys reading, walking, baking, and spending time with family and her dog, Colby Jack.  

In addition to supporting pastors and school leaders, Ms. Radomsky will be responsible for facilitating training in strategic planning, board/commission work, and data analyses. Michelle will work closely with Mary McCoy, Assistant Superintendent, Elementary Education, in
preparing spiritual and professional development opportunities for school leaders. Michelle will also be heavily engaged in implementing the OCS strategic plan, with a primary emphasis on Catholic Identity/Mission, Leadership/Governance, Academic Excellence, and Operational Vitality.

We are confident that Michelle is also going to love working with our Catholic schools, and that our Catholic schools will graciously welcome herto our team!
